Candy calling

Hi there,

So i am 7 days into my healthy start and i seem to be doing well. Planning is a must. I need to know what am i eating next. The powerstart recipes are quite good. They do seem to fill you up but i am not yet comfortable with the 'am i full yet' part.

Yesterday was a bad day. I was doing well had my breakfast and went to work. Around ten i was feeling peckish and had my banana...i guess i didn't wait long enough 'cause i grabbed my pear too. That was for afternoon snack. So after lunch when i went to pick up Yvano we went to the store, to get something for afternoon snack....which is just an excuse because we have loads of fruit at home ! Yvano got a chocolate bar, they were on sale, two for one, so he got two. I got grilled chicken wings and then a little bag of plain mixed nuts. So needless to say i ate both :( Yvano is not allowed two chocolate bars so one was put in the fridge.When marcel went out the chocolate bar started calling my name...darned thing wouldn't leave me alone. So i ate it, done with it. Getting back on track again today. Which is quite hard for me as i work from home today !

This photo was taken at the supermarket yesterday, they also had a knackworst (hotdog) sale. If you bought two cans you got this wooly hat free. Well we liked the hat so we got the knackworst and Yvano likes them so he is happy and i like the photo so i am happy :)

I guess i will just have to keep myself busy :) So plans for today !
- Get Yvano to school club
- Get breakfast
- Get a load of washing done
- Work from 07:30-10:00
- Buy gift for Yvano's doctor
- Take Yvano to last appointment at 11:00
- Take Yvano back to school
- Have lunch at 12:30
- Work from 13:00-14:45
- Pick Yvano up from school
- Work from 15:15-17:00
- Get dinner ready
- Tidy up dinner stuff and kitchen
- Get Yvano bathed and ready for bed
- Relax time

Pfewww wondering now if i got everything in. Also wondering if a busy week helps me stay on track or the rushing around makes it worse.
Today i have to work, tomorrow the builder is coming and a friend of yvano's  is coming to play, thursday i have to babysit, friday we do shopping, sunday we have to go and see Grandma.

So goodmorning to you all :)

In 2012 i lost just over 50 pounds using Weight Watchers propoints plan. I got stuck and luckily was asked to become my coaches assistent. If i hadn't done that i would have quite long ago. I never quite but all the lost weight i gained in the last year.

Now Weight Watchers Netherlands came with a new plan. It seemed perfect for me. It's a plan that gives you a power start to healthy eating. For me it was also a way to detox sugar !

This plan is about eating power foods. Foods that make you full and keep you full for a longer period. This plan also concentrates on how full you feel. You need to listen to your body so you learn how you feel. Instead just eating what you are told or counting points !

I started new years day ! So far i am doing well. My anti sugar headache went away on day three.
You do have to plan a little more to get the right foods in. Planning is good :) It makes you more aware and if you go to a store with a shopping list you are less likely to buy the wrong stuff.

Wednesday January 1st
Breakfast: 0% fat quark, mash a banana through, chop an apple and sprinkle with cinnamon, heat the apple in the microwave for a minute, top it onto the quark
Lunch: potato and green been salad with balsamic vinegar
Dinner: chicken curry with greenbeans and rice.

Thursday January 2nd
Breakfast: rice yoghurt with fresh mango
Lunch: chicken salad with rye bread
Dinner: Mashed potato and leek with apple and beef

Friday January 3rd
Breakfast: Chickenfillet with lettice and apple on rye bread
Lunch: Shrimp salad with quark and cajun spices on rye bread
Dinner: 100% beef patty with mushrooms and nutty rice

Saturday January 4th
Breakfast: scrambeled egg with spring onion and mushrooms
Lunch: Noodle salad with leek and tofu
Dinner: Pasta with turkey and mixed vegetables.

I haven't had anything i don't like i am having a hard time with yoghurt for breakfast as it is a little sour :)

I made a new ring yesterday too :)
This one i made before. Its an ordered ring an her daughter and fried want one too.... LOL

I made this for me. Its made with the 10mm aluminium and its harder to work with.

I posted on facebook and someone ordered one right away...i love it when that happens :)

Am i here ?

Hi there,

This is me :) As i am hihi

January 1st is a day of resolutions...9 times out of 10 it is a health related resolution :) Stop smoking.... get more exercise...drink less....lose some weight...all of the above.

For me this is like a last chance resolution. I gained almost all of the 50 pounds i lost in 2011. It needs to come off and more and i need help.

I need your help and to reach everyone out mum and sister in the US and my sister and other family in Scotland, my aunt in England friends all around the world i am going to try blogging once more. 

I dont want to make it a boring blog about losing weight. I want to share everything with you,....however you may find that boring too.....

I will be posting about how i feel, recipes i have found and tried. If i can i want to share my mealplanning ('cause that works for me). I want to share stories about our daily life, the issues i run into with my son (who was diagnosed with ADHD en PDD-NOS in 2009) and his school, help, etc. I want to share almost everything hihi. I want to share my hobbies, i found a new hobby in aluminium jewellery :)

I will have several pages for you to check out :) Which you must to on a regular basis !
